Mr. Damaseke Chibale is the Manager of Public Relations at the University of Zambia and Communication Officer for the Africa Centre of Excellence for Infectious Diseases of Humans and Animals (ACEIDHA). He has over 15 years of experience in positive image building, increases institutional visibility, media relations, corporate communication, event management, and branding in order to win the goodwill of stakeholders. His main interest is in strategic communication and public relations by adopting and applying modern-day Strategic Management concepts and principles. Mr. Damaseke works hard to promote teamwork and foster team building so as to inspire and motivate everyone around to achieve maximum results.

- 1996 - Bachelor of Mass Communication – The University of Zambia, Lusaka, Zambia
- 2019 - Master of Business Administration – The University of Zambia & Zimbabwe Open University, Lusaka, Zambia.

Employment Experience
Mr. Damaseke has spent 4 years working in the main media industry as sub-editor for one of Zambia’s leading newspaper – Zambia Daily Mail Limited from 2002 to 2005. He then worked for two different commercial water utility firms - Nkana Water & Sewerage Company (2005 to 2013) and Lusaka Water and Sewerage Company (2013 to 2015) as Manager Public Relations. From 2015 to date, he has been working as Manager, Public Relations for the University of Zambia.
Damaseke’s research interest is focused on Strategic Management and on how to utilise its principles and concepts to understand socio-economic issues.
