The Africa Centre of Excellence for Infectious Diseases of Humans and Animals (ACEIDHA) has begun its UNZA-PASET-World Bank Benchmarking retreat which is scheduled from 6th to 9th April 2021. This workshop has been officially opened by the University of Zambia Acting Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Tamala Kambikambi. The workshop’s key objectives are as follows:
1. To orient participants on the ACEDHA Operational and Funding Mechanism
2. To create an understanding of the importance of Benchmarking in the context of ACEIDHA’s funding mechanism and UNZA’s Regional and International Academic Rankings
3. To explain the process of Benchmarking and the tools used in benchmarking as required by the PASET-World Bank
4. To gather granular and high-level data required for the UNZA benchmarking
5. To consolidate the gathered data for onward submission to the PASET Secretariat
